With these paintings I want to make a statement that we have to stop the pollution and and take care of our nature. All the paintings are made with the egg-tempera technique.

In the summer 2019 I made some oilpaintins on wood in our house in Greece. It are abstract paintings inspired by Greece. The cultural layers, the colours, the transparency, the rhythm in the water and land, dynamics and writing.

Eggtempera paintings wich I painted in Greece and Russia. In Greece in our own house and in Russia during a plein-air paitingsymposium. The paintings are abstract, but the have also a landscape look. Also the white churches and monestaries in Russia were of influence.

Project in progress. For many years now I am working on a very special project. I am painting the portraits of the inhabbitants of the small village in Greece where I spent some months a year. I want in this way to honour the villagers that worked all their lives and are now confrontated with a new Europe. Loosing a way of life that was there for such a long time.

Project in progress. For many years now I am working on a very special project. I am painting the portraits of the inhabbitants of the small village in Greece where I spent some months a year. I want in this way to honour the villagers that worked all their lives and are now confrontated with a new Europe. Loosing a way of life that was there for such a long time.
In the beginningnof 2016 I have worked on larger sizes with egg tempera. This is a technike in witch you use egg, water, oil and pigments. You can decide, if you use strong colours or more transparent colours. The paint is brought on in layers. Its getting more alive.
